Description:

A well established Vietnamese restaurant in South Auckland is looking for a Manager who could grow the business to the next level

Suitable candidate will undertake the following tasks:

  • Managing the entire operations of the current inhouse restaurant and the new take away section / online business including all admin duties
  • Responsible for financial performance of the restaurant and take away business via online business.
  • Developing a strong understanding of what drives and motivates your staff to increase performance & service standards.
  • Manage the restaurant stock and suppliers
  • Recruiting & HR Functions
  • Plan roster for the staff
  • Coaching & training new staff
  • Driving Promotions & Marketing and Customer Engagement
  • Maintaining a high level of H&S and Compliance

Type: Full Time / Permanent position with a minimum of 35 hours per week and maximum of 50 hours per week
Salary: $30- $32 per hour depending on proficiency and experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Suitable applicant must have 3 years of work experience in a Managerial role or a Diploma in Business or Business Management or higher
  • Applicants with work experience in restaurant or food industry and have knowledge in Vietnamese cuisines are preferable.
  • Must be flexible for shift work roster and must be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skill
