    National Workforce is looking for a labourer to join a dynamic team, specialising in 24/7 emergency response services for insurers and clients.
    An exciting opportunity for a Restoration Technician to perfrom structural drying, mould remediation, fire cleans, sewage clean-ups, and flood decontamination. Handle everything from emergency make safes to full-scale restoration projects, ensuring that buildings and contents are restored to their pre-loss condition.

REQUIREMENTS:

Background in building and contents restoration and/or background in cleaning/ carpet cleaning preferred but not essential
Experience as a restoration technician preferred however training will be provided
Valid Open Drivers licence

Responsibilities:

  • Completing initial reports, scoping fulfilments, assessments, and remediation works at various locations.
  • Interacting confidently with homeowners and clients, guiding them through the next steps of their insurance claims’ process.
  • Responding promptly to water and mould damage emergencies in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Performing water extraction, carpet removal, and occasional furniture relocation as needed.
  • Executing restoration and cleaning works on building structures to restore them to their pre-damage state.
  • Installing specialised restoration equipment to facilitate efficient restoration processes.
  • Adhering strictly to workplace health and safety (WHS) standards specific to the industry.
  • Collaborating closely with office staff to provide regular updates on ongoing projects.
  • Compiling comprehensive reports and preparing scopes of works detailing damages for insurance claims.
  • Being available for on-call duties, including weekends and additional overtime as required.
