SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate with understanding of business, local regulations and current developments.
- Conversant with full range of banking products and services
- At least 5 years’ experience in Governance in the Financial Sector and a proven track record of consistent performance and achievements
- Understanding of all banking operations, product, policies, CBUAE regulations and compliance is needed.
- Good knowledge of local and international regulations and AML/CFT laws
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and identify gaps if any while provide adequate remediation strategies to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure that the bank complies with all regulatory requirements, laws and industry standards.
- Act as a key point of contact with Group Compliance and business governance teams to ensure oversight on all regulatory activities such as financial risk crime assessments , KYC remediation and ongoing due diligence
- Oversight on NPS/CSAT Governance for RBWM and Regulatory Reporting
- SAR Governance for Retail Banking and Wealth Management
