Retail Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable Retail Operations Manager who can manage the profitability and operational excellence of our Commercial stores nationwide. This is an integral role based out of our National Support Office in Ellerslie that will see you responsible for the following:

• Development of new business and maintaining a strong relationship with existing stakeholders across the commercial and retread channels
• Promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring that safe operating practices and high health and safety standards are met across the business
• Achieving exceptional levels of operational greatness, service delivery, compliance and profitability across all commercial sites
• Coaching and leading regional teams and store management to exceed targets and goals
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and reporting

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

• Proven commercial or industrial business management experience, ideally with exposure to the NZ tyre industry or market
• Good understanding of commercial and retail store operations, with a strong view on compliance and Health & Safety
• Demonstrated ability of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets nationally
• Intermediate plus Excel proficiency, coupled with reporting, forecasting and budgeting capabilities
