QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in drafting, modeling, or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience using multiple versions of Revit (2018 to 2024)
  • Preference to be given to those experienced in the construction industry, favorably a candidate with electrical knowledge associated with buildings,
  • Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud platform (BIM360) applications,
  • Proficiency in reading mark-ups and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and various other construction documentation,
  • Strong, self-motivated work ethic with ability to be effective and timely with tasks,
  • Organized and able to follow company standards and procedures, with a resourceful capacity for resolving challenges,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Must be able to work within a team environment,
  • It is a fast-paced environment; candidate must be willing to meet quick deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Revit Technician to join our Victoria team. This role includes modeling electrical systems for commercial and residential projects using the Revit software. The qualified candidate should have a good understanding of Building information modeling and MEP Revit modeling. Working conditions is in-office from 8:00am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work under the direction of the CAD Manager, Electrical Designers and Project Managers to develop construction document packages in Revit,
  • Maintaining drawing consistency with other team members,
  • Provide support for plotting and creating electronic file submissions,
  • Ensure proper documentation of all work, products, and relevant activities,
  • Other duties assigned, as necessary.
