Description:
Experienced remuneration manager with strong team management skills required for newly created role.
Our client is a global contracting organisation supporting both the mining and oil and gas sectors.
Reporting to the EGM of People & Culture, this management opportunity will be responsible for leading the management of all remuneration and rewards strategies for their AsiaPac business, coupled with payroll and people services.
Predominantly, you will be responsible for partnering with the business and creating recommendations and board papers for the Executive to ensure engagement, retention and contemporary practice across all remuneration and rewards.
Accountabilities will include:
- Providing a comprehensive understanding of the local legislative and market requirements, and tailoring remuneration and rewards strategies and solutions
- Partner with the EGM of People & Culture, the CEO, Company Secretary and CFO
- Research, Prepare and Present remuneration and reward Board Papers
- Provide job evaluation and required governance
- Develop Success Factors to support remuneration modelling and reporting
- Coach and develop the rewards specialist
- Sponsor the overarching remuneration and rewards strategy
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion within remuneration and rewards
We are seeking a proactive remuneration and rewards specialist who has prior significant experience of engaging at a senior level and influencing strategies for best practice. You will be passionate about your craft and offer proactive coaching and management of your team, whilst building relationships with external partners for executive and board benchmarking. It is essential that you possess prior experience of developing and presenting Board Papers to the Executive.
You will manage a team of 10 across reward, payroll, HR services and HR analytics.
It is preferred that you have prior knowledge of the mining or contracting business, or a relatable sector. Analytical skills, coupled with a penchant for continuous improvement, a collaborative and structured approach, and a courageous mindset will guarantee success. It is essential that you have led teams and pride yourself in their development and high performance.
This position is based within their corporate head office in the Eastern Suburbs, where parking and gym facilities are offered.
