As part of a world class RF transceiver team, youʼll craft sophisticated leading-edge embedded firmware that deliver more performance in our products than ever before. Join us and help us innovate new wireless systems technologies that continually outperform the previous iterations! In this role, you will contribute to the development of the embedded systems for cellular RF transceivers and radio systems. You will work on the design, implementation as well as verification for our real-time control firmware with all aspects of embedded software development. This position requires a close collaboration with our system engineers, hardware developers, and system verification engineers.

DESCRIPTION

As an RF Firmware Intern, you will work on real challenges the team faces on upcoming products. To be successful in this position, you have a strong technical foundation, are able to show initiative, learn new technologies quickly, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are motivated and prepared to work independently on development, optimization and verification of RF transceiver firmware and algorithms.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong skills in embedded firmware development (C/C++) and python programming
  • General knowledge in computer architecture, HW/SW co-verification and debugging of embedded software systems
  • Knowledge in mobile communications (2G/3G/4G/5G)
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills (English)Ability to work on multi-functional projects with a globally located team Available for 6 months or more

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electronics and Information Technology or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The minimum salary pursuant to the CBA amounts to €33,619 gross per year for full time employment. Actual salaries are oriented at current market salaries and take your qualifications and experience into account.
