Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated RFP Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic Business Development team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in securing new business opportunities by developing compelling proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will work closely with the sales team, subject matter experts, and other internal stakeholders to ensure our proposals effectively address client needs and exceed expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the RFP response process from start to finish, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and project specifications.
- Conduct thorough research to gather relevant data and information for proposal content.
- Develop persuasive and well-written proposals that showcase our company’s expertise and value proposition.
- Ensure proposals comply with all RFP requirements and formatting guidelines.
- Work with internal teams (Ops, technical, legal, etc.) to gather necessary information and contributions for the proposal.
- Proofread and edit proposals for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Track and analyze proposal win/loss rates to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices for RFP writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience writing proposals or related experience in business development or sales.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with RFP management software a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of key business development concepts and sales cycles.
