Description:
At Whānau Āwhina Plunket, people are at the heart of what we do, our teams of nurses & health workers care for pēpi and whānau across Aotearoa on a day to day basis, providing reassurance and clinical advice in homes, clinics and in community settings.
We are seeking a proactive and insightful Risk Advisor to join our Performance, Risk and Governance team in a full time permanent position.
While we have a preference for a Wellington based candidate, if you are outside these locations and feel connected to the role, we welcome an application from you.
HE KŌRERO MŌU | ABOUT YOU
Your strong understanding of risk management methodologies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to facilitate workshops will support you to deliver key initiatives.
You will have exceptional relationship management skills and be able to advise and support kaimahi at all levels, while bringing them along on the journey with you. You’ll also enjoy using your critical analysis skills to make well informed decisions.
You will also be/have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or experience in risk management or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with risk management software or tools.
- Highly developed organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Te Ao Māori, with a commitment to equity and cultural competence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
