Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Risk and Compliance Assistant to join the Risk and Compliance department based in our Exeter office. This is a full time and permanent position.
The Risk and Compliance department is central to ensuring that the Firm is compliant with the legal sectors regulatory expectation for the protection of our clients and employees. As a Risk and Compliance Assistant, you will provide an efficient and effective service by assisting the Risk and Compliance team and the wider firm, within a support administration role.
Working efficiently and accurately to deadlines, duties include the maintenance of the Firm’s client case management systems, ensuring client data is up to date and accurate. You will also assist with the Firm’s client onboarding process, to include verification of clients identity; being careful to recognise and note anomalies or issues. Communication and being able to take in and deliver clear messages is key, as well as being professional and confidential towards client matters, the wider firm and supporting your colleagues when needed.
You will in addition support the Risk and Compliance team in general administration activities for the department, which include maintaining and updating records along with data collection.
