Description:
Working in Small Medium Enterprise Line of Business this is an exciting greenfield opportunity centered around the ANZ sole trading community. You will provide specialist expertise within an established Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team within MYOB that supports Australian and New Zealand operations.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser, demonstrating deep knowledge of key regulatory obligations. You will make an impact by driving risk identification and compliance; operating with various teams to ensure that the greenfield opportunity is developed in a way which protects MYOB’s brand, reputation, and financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure business awareness, understanding, and compliance with relevant financial services regulation including, but not limited to, AML/CTF and AFSL compliance
- Handle third party compliance obligations and risk associated with any partners supporting MYOB financial services products
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of key contractual obligations on MYOB from partners, especially financial institutions
- Assist in crafting, maintaining, and running a complete register of product/service risks and actively work with the business to help them mitigate and resolve in a prioritised manner
- Investigate, monitor, and raise breaches, conflicts of interests, potential liabilities, and regulatory compliance issues
- Handle compliance reports around regulatory and governance matters and changes impacting the business
- Draft policies and procedures to enable compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
