Responsibilities:

As a Risk Manager at Gadens, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our firm’s operations, reputation, and compliance. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the firm’s operational integrity and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and strategic professional to make a significant impact on our firm’s risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify and analyse potential risks (operational, financial, reputational, compliance, etc.) that could impact the firm.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and review risk management policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and professional standards.
  • Compliance: Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environments to ensure the firm’s compliance.
  • Incident and Breach Management: Investigate and manage risk incidents and breaches, implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular risk management reports to the Office of General Counsel and Management team.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver risk management training programs to promote a culture of risk awareness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Office of General Counsel and Management team to integrate risk management practices across the firm.
  • Business Continuity: Develop and maintain the firm’s business continuity plan to ensure preparedness for disruptions.
