WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a Risk Manager to join our Risk team .
Working closely with the Chief Risk Officer and other Senior Leaders, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of GHD’s Risk Management Standard (Framework) so that it is consistently applied and in place across the Enterprise.
Pivotal to this will be to manage and enhance existing systems and develop, implement, and oversee expansion of the risk management program, to support the identification of potential risks, their impact assessment and effective improvement strategies. Ultimately the role will embed a risk management culture to reduce risk and improve enterprise efficiency. The Risk Manager can be based in most GHD office locations in Cañada, the US, or globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Enterprise Strategic Risk Register and monitor implementation of controls and treatments.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments are in place for each Business and each Business Services Function across GHD and manage on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure Risk Register is updated and maintained, as well as any actions addressed.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Teams to integrate risk management into business operations.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management program that aligns with industry best practices and ensures GHD adheres to all requirements.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer with the development of a healthy risk culture within all business areas.
  • Work with our Learning Centre of Excellence to develop and implement training, and conduct regular audits, to ensure employees are relevantly educated with respect to GHDs approach around risk management. Facilitate workshops as/when required.
  • Implement automated processes for risk management using GHD’s existing platform, SAI360, to manage and monitor risks, controls and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate risk management documentation, including via SAI360.
  • Monthly reporting on risk management performance to the Chief Risk Officer.
  • Present and inform the Executive Leadership Team and/or Board/Risk Committee, on key risk matters as required.
  • Improve risk maturity through continuous improvement and robust reviews of Risk Register and framework.
