Description:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to help set up and oversee the risk management function in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating operational, credit, market, liquidity, and other risks facing the Firm.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant risk management experience in Financial Industry
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and techniques
- Sound knowledge in rules and regulations administered by the MAS, market practices, financial products as well as securities, FX/ derivatives products
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Working experience in fund administration industry or private banking will be prioritized
Responsibilities:
- Assume the responsibilities such as monitoring prices and trade flows for Forex and exchange traded derivatives
- Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures and guidelines in Forex (FX), Securities and Asset Mangement in according to MAS regulations
- Identify, assess and monitor risks associated with the Firm’s activities and operations.
- Develop and maintain risk models to measure and quantify risks.
- Collaborate with business units and other stakeholders to identify and manage risks associated with new products and services.
- Client trade flow monitoring and execution
- Create a daily risk checks manual
- Prepare trade reports and detailed analysis of data
- Produce client risk analysis, and regular reports
- Run daily risk checks and accordingly generate risk reports
- Assess and monitor the Company’s exposure risk
- Monitor and ensure swift actions are being taken to manage a range of risks
- Keep up to date with market information and monitoring trends in financial markets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and conduct risk training programs for employees.
