  • Pro-active, dynamic individual with proven stakeholder management skills
  • You are confident working in a team, with effective communication skills
  • Willing and confident to challenge ideas to facilitate improvement
  • Ability to challenge and present at Management level
  • Skilled in negotiating and influencing techniques
  • Ability to lead workshops and present technical details to large teams of people with confidence

It would be beneficial if you are:

  • numerate with experience of estimating (Cost & Schedule) and financial modelling skills

Responsibilities:

Risk Managers work within the PMO independently supporting the Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to develop an effective Risk culture and implement value add, high quality risk management.

  • Champion the Risk Management Process and Culture as the Business Area Subject Matter Expert
  • Provide training, support and awareness sessions to IPTs and Project Managers on Leonardo processes and tools
  • Support the contingency setting and management process, including approving compliant release of contingencies
  • Act as approver within our risk management system, signing off the quality of risk registers
  • Manage and support the updating of risk data for Corporate Reporting
  • Work with IPTs to ensure effective and commensurate management of risks is in place on all projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Monitor risk management activities to ensure compliance and progress against project plans
  • Facilitate Monthly Risk Reviews
