Description:

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of key flows and functions of a global Investment Bank
  • Understanding of the resilience regulatory environment globally with focus in the European Union and Switzerland, including Digital Operational Resilience Act requirements
  • Experience in setting strategy and working with cross organization working groups to implement strategy
  • Strong client / stakeholder management skills with strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong delivery focus

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the European regulatory authorities’ approach to operational resilience, regional nuances and requirements, and integrate those expectations into the operational resilience framework
  • Support execution of the firm’s Operational Resilience framework for the European legal entities of Goldman Sachs
  • Manage firmwide tests of recovery strategies to include home working environment, recovery site, and function handover.
  • Execute against resilience planning uplift activities to ensure they are executed on time and with the expected level of quality
  • Conduct analyses of the firm adherence to different regulatory requirements and frameworks for Operational Resilience
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of qualitative/quantitative operational resilience metrics for EMEA legal entities
  • Maintain ongoing monitor, triggers, escalation and mitigating actions of the relevant metrics
  • Identify and drive initiatives that improve the risk management activities at the firm
  • Be apprised of operational resilience events and data collection including reporting when necessary; perform detailed reviews of trends to identify significant risks and ensure monitoring and remediation
  • Prepare and present commercially effective strategies and present to Operational Risk senior management and business stakeholders
