Description:

Great Southern Bank is seeking a Manager, Risk Systems to define and execute our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems roadmap, supporting our risk management framework.
This is a new permanent full-time role that will support implementation of the Archer GRC system and the ongoing effectiveness and enhancement of this system. Our Archer implementation is well advanced and as business owner, you will play a key role transitioning Archer from implementation to business as usual.
Working in the Enterprise Risk team, you will partner with risk, business and technology stakeholders to embed the use of Archer and ensure that it supports the effectiveness of our risk management framework.
This position is open to Brisbane and Sydney candidates with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Business owner of the Archer GRC system, setting strategy for its continual improvement and capability uplift.
  • Lead proposed changes to the Archer GRC system with a strategic mindset to reduce conflicts and improve platform effectiveness.
  • Responsible for configuration and testing of changes to the Archer GRC system.
  • Lead the relationship with internal stakeholders to extract requirements and translate into processes or improvements, ensuring the right outcome is delivered.
  • Consult directly with the Technology division to optimise change deployment and manage data handoffs across multiple processes.
  • Manage risks and controls supporting the GRC system to ensure that it remains supported in line with the bank’s standards.
  • Build productive vendor relationships to effectively collaborate on product roadmap planning and the successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on how best to provide an exceptional employee experience.
  • Provide support across all division to users of the platform, raising incidents and defects when necessary, adding to the knowledge base and recommendations for improvement.
