Description:

Job Overview:
The candidate will be a critical member of the surgical team caring for patients with surgical problems/needs and related surgical procedures. Evaluating and managing patients with surgical diseases, performing bedside procedures when appropriate, assist the surgeon in the operating room. Ensure continuum of care between the inpatient and outpatient areas
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school and RNFA program
  • Current Operating Room Experience

Preferred:

BSN

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Current New Jersey RN license

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Position is for days, per-diem
  • Flexible Shifts
  • On Call Requirements

Other Duties:
The successful candidate will function in full compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations and standards of care. Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management will be conducted in collaboration with the attending physician and other health care professionals.
