Description:
Kuehne+Nagel’s Road Logistics Division is growing, and we are looking for someone to join the team! Responsible for domestic movements throughout New Zealand, our Auckland based Road Logistics team is looking for a hungry and motivated individual to join them as an Operations Specialist.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Eager to begin a career within the logistics and supply chain field
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A sense of initiative and drive to follow tasks through to completion
- High attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills and a good understanding of operating procedures
- A team player, someone who is willing to pitch in to help the team when necessary
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Effective time management with the ability to meet strict deadlines, to prioritize and problem solve
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
This role requires someone who can think on their feet, juggle competing priorities, have an eye for detail, all whilst consistently delivering exceptional results for their customers. Ideally you will be a recent university graduate, looking to begin your career within the supply chain industry.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the execution of Road Logistics consignments, through booking, monitoring and following up the relevant parties
- Timely completion of Road Logistics dispatch and cartage documents
- Respond to customer needs by ensuring ongoing and consistent customer service satisfaction
- To maintain accurate and timely records and data within the systems to enable effect and efficient reporting
- Maintaining excellent relationships with other internal departments and service providers
