YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business or similar field
- 3+ years experience in Project Management (Preferrably with new TMS implementations)
- 2+ years experience in Road Logistics Operations is a plus
- 2+ years experience in a leadership role
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification is a strong asset
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As the Road Logistics Solutions & Implementation Manager, you will have a dual responsibility. Your primary task involves supporting the successful implementation of our new Transportation Management System (TMS) for the Canadian Road Logistics team. After the system is in place, you will take charge of continuously improving its functionality. Additionally, you will lead our Road Logistics Operational Excellence team. This role is not customer-facing; instead, it focuses on interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders (branches). Reporting directly to the Area Road Logistics Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Overland activities for implementation through GCIM project plan methodology
- Support Overland operations teams & ensure a seamless transition from award to Operations Go Live.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the Overland process
- Create Performance Improvement plans, measure activities and publish results to external and internal stakeholders
- TMS set ups or changes for clients, carriers, and or tariffs
- TMS tariff maintenance
- Support product/process design & launch to Overland Operational teams
- Conduct business analytics on identified processes
- Develop & deploy Operational tools for support of business dashboards & KPIs
- Support carrier integration within our network to ensure data integrity into the TMS
- Ensure all activities are executed within KN Code of Conduct guidelines
