Job Summary
Our Construction Management team is seeking a Roadway Construction Inspector for work on various transportation projects. This position will require extensive knowledge of Bridge, Roads & Highway construction inspection and other public works. This position monitors field investigations, verifies and documents the contractor’s findings and routinely reports the information to the Resident Engineer. This position will be based out of our field office and will be expected to work in various areas throughout Central California.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering, architecture or construction field required or California EIT.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with the concepts and practices of complex roadway, highway and bridge construction or major public works.
  • Must be experienced in oversight of company and local agency staff and sub consultants and have the ability to effectively and efficiently work with the Resident Engineer and clients to assist in the resolution of project issues.
  • Must be able to write effective and concise reviews, comments, and reports.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

    TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $42.00– $63.00 hourly for this position and local market.
