Description:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science or any Robotics related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Basic experience with Ubuntu (Linux) OS.
- Basic networking knowledge (router, CAN, LAN connections, Wifi setup) and wiring connections setup.
- Experience working with robotics or related hardware systems that include cameras, sensors etc.
- Basic knowledge on file systems and Experience with PLC Programming.
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to learn attitude and initiative to solve problems.
- Knowledge of power tools (drill etc.)
- Safety in workplace.
Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
As a robotic associate engineer on the Robotics test site, you will contribute to the development of innovation projects with focus on mobile robotic technologies. This includes infrastructure setup, software configurations, sensors calibrations, data collections and etc.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation or maintaining of the robot parts (such as exchanging motor drive, battery, etc.) based on installation / assembly instructions.
- Ensure that firmware and hardware drivers are up to date.
- Perform sensor calibration and configure sensor settings.
- Perform data collection and new sensor evaluations and testing.
- Setup and configure networking infrastructure/devices for communications in the test site and the robot.
- Setting up the robot with the respective software and configurations needed to perform the operation / test.
- Setting up the fleet management applications and communications parameters needed on both the server and on the robots.
- Perform initial investigation on the issues on the robot and narrow down to the potential component.
- Fix issues related to incorrect configurations or settings (Software / Hardware) on the robots.
- Report issues or bug on the robot with reproduction information and logs.
- Basic soldering and crimping.
