Our robotics platform team is based in a dedicated robotics facility in Hullavington UK. We work in tight multi-disciplinary groups and push new technologies from academia and research into cutting edge features for consumer products. We are expanding our projects and technology interests, and so we need new team members to join us!

The Principal Elecronics Engineer is essentially an expert level position within the Robotics Platform Group with responsibilities in the definition of electronics architectures and solutions for mobile robotics products.

The responsibilities include:

• Contributing to, reviewing, and supporting the delivery of electronics work packages including architecture, sensing, and safety systems.
• Approving requirements, specifications, and solutions for electronic assemblies & sub-systems.
• Working with Systems, Safety, Software & Mechanical experts to optimise the delivery of functions across disciplines.
• Leading the strategy for implementing safety related electronic control systems.
