ABOUT US.

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more
locations and more people.
Our robotics platform team is based in a dedicated robotics facility in Hullavington UK. We work in tight multi-disciplinary groups and push new technologies from academia and research into cutting edge features for consumer products.
We are expanding our projects and technology interests, and so we need new team members to join us!

Responsibilities:

We are open to receiving applications from electronics hardware engineers at engineer level (2+ years of experience) to principal grade. Typical role responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of hardware electronics including microcontrollers, digital, power supplies, motor control (typically <100W) and analogue functions.
  • Generating design specifications, drawings, schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings.
  • Technology selection, circuit design, modelling and simulation, PCB layout and prototyping.
  • Organising the manufacture, build, bring-up and testing of PCBs of prototypes and purchasing of specialised components.
  • Investigation of new emerging technologies and how they can be used in our embedded systems.
