Robotics Technician- Junior level

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Junior Robotics Technician plays an integral role in our manufacturing operation and includes functions such as machining, assembly, AV equipment troubleshooting, and the use of hand tools.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• MUST be able to work with and understand mechanical and electrical components.
• Secondary or Post-secondary School Graduate.
• Minimum experience with electronics, hand tools, AV equipment troubleshooting is preferred
• Flexibility to work extended shifts, including evenings or weekends.
• Good communication skills, team player.
• Valid Ontario G-License.

• Perform mechanical and electronic repair for faulty CCTV robotic equipment
• Diagnose failures of faulty CCTV equipment i.e.. cameras, wires, gear mechanisms
• Assemble L.E.D. battery circuits and corks
• Test all equipment according to standard operating procedures and record state of equipment
• Maintain a record for all assets coming in for repair and leaving to the field
• Track inventory of all components required for repair and report inventory status regularly.
• Log all information pertaining to root cause analysis and work performed on equipment
• Must have experience with hand tools, power tools, electronic multimeters
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements are adhered to
• Work with manufacturing/maintenance team to complete projects within tight deadlines, with quality craftsmanship.Ability to maintain good housekeeping practices.
