DESCRIPTION:

Under the guidance of the Rail Operations Manager, this position will provide engineering and technical advice in managing the Alstom Significant Contract (Trains) and associated contractors crucial to the project. You will be involved in various phases of the rolling stock aspects of the project from testing, commissioning, integration, operational readiness and handover to operations of the rolling stock.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognised Engineering degree or higher in electrical, electronic, mechatronic or mechanical engineering
  • Around 6 years of experience in rolling stock design and/or procurement, or related heavy industry design, testing and commissioning experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to build, maintain and manage strong client relationships
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
