We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our client’s centre in Fairlight for their Preschool to babies room. Our client has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion and we want you to bring your whole self to work.

For this position, we will ideally be looking for someone with:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
• Working with children check
• Understanding of mandatory reporting responsibilities
• Strong team work and ability to collaborate effectively

As a Room Leader, the role will see you working in collaboration with the wider team to ensure our children are inspired to learn in a safe and exciting learning environment. In addition, the role will see you:

• Inspire children through play-based and interest focused activities
• Mentor a team of Educator through educational guidance
• Create meaningful partnerships with families, children, and educators to create positive outcomes for all children in our care
• Plan and program with support from the OAC Grow Curriculum and EYLF
• Maintaining ongoing records of the children’s development
• Assisting with daily room tasks, e.g. activity preparation and meal times
• Maintain an ongoing commitment to child safety and wellbeing in everyday practices
