SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
• Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Permanent Resident or Citizen
• Effective communication skills
• Warm personality

ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking for someone to lead the toddlers room. Needs a passion for Reggio Philosophy and nature play.
One day non-contact on offer, used for programming. Extra 2 weeks leave over the Christmas period. Ensure the smooth running of a room in a childcare centre.
Responsible for the guidance and support of assistant educators, students and trainees.
Create programming which utilises the EYLF and follows the NQS. Actively creating observations of children and accurately documenting. Liaise with parents through daily interaction by providing feedback on children’s progression and milestones reached.

AS PART OF YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE.
