SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• ACECQA-approved Diploma
• No Room Leader experience needed
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
• Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Permanent Resident or Citizen
• Effective communication skills
• Warm personality

Desirable

• National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)
• Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR

ABOUT THE ROLE

Escape city life and earn an above award with potential relocation assistance and subsidised accommodation. Ensure the smooth running of a room in a childcare centre. Responsible for the guidance and support of assistant educators, students and trainees. Create programming which utilises the EYLF and follows the NQS. Actively creating observations of children and accurately documenting. Liaise with parents through daily interaction by providing feedback on children’s progression and milestones reached.
