Description:
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ROTATION ENGINEER TO JOIN A 50M SAILING YACHT. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED SAILING YACHT ENGINEER WITH A MINIMUM OF Y4 OR EQUIVALENT.
The Rotation Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all engineering systems aboard the yacht. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring all machinery and systems operate efficiently
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise
- Keeping detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Y4 certification minimum
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role on a sailing yacht
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid ENG1 and STCW certifications
Start date: The ideal candidate will be able to start in the Mediterranean by mid June.
Package: Rotation 10 weeks: 10 weeks
Itinerary: Early summer in UK/IRE. Late summer in Netherlands (5 Year Survey). Caribbean winter 24/25. Pacific summer 2025
