As an ROV Trainee in DOF you will have the chance to gain knowledge and collaborate with our experienced and passionate ROV team.

The main fleet of DOF ROV/LARS systems consists of:

  • Kystdesign
  • Shilling UHD
  • Perry/Forum XLX, XLR, and XLX-C
  • Argus
  • LARS - ODIM/Rolls Royce, Cetix/Sepro, Ulmatec, Dynacon, MacArtney

What does it mean to be an ROV pilot at Dof?

REQUIREMENTS

Trainees should meet one or more of the following requirements:

  • A nationally recognized technical qualification
  • A nationally recognized trade qualification
  • A military service qualification
  • An appropriate level national vocational qualification

One of the above qualifications must be completed in one or more of the following relevant technical subjects:

  • Electrical
  • Electronics
  • Hydraulics
  • Mechanics

On average the trainee period is 6 months, but with an upper limit on 1 year. You will be trained from our experienced personnel by joining them offshore as an extra crew member. As soon as you are qualified you will be promoted to ROV Pilot Technician position.
