Description:

This is a contract position for a OPGT MOD - One (1) Systems Analyst - Senior for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Seven Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience configuring Dynamics 365 F&O
Knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS

Responsibilities:

As a member of the data migration team, you will help the data migration:

  • Data Analysis: analyze the existing data in the legacy financial applications, understand its structure, quality, and relationships and help in designing an appropriate migration strategy;.
  • Data Extraction: help extract the required data from the legacy application, develop and implement extraction processes to retrieve data from various sources, such as databases, files, APIs, or other relevant legacy financial systems;
  • Data Cleansing and Validation: cleanse and validate the extracted data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Help with identifying and resolving data quality issues, performing deduplication, and applying business rules to ensure the integrity of the migrated data;
  • Data Testing and Quality Assurance: assist with testing of migrated financial data to verify its accuracy and integrity. Provide assurance from an accounting point of view for the migration of financial data into Dynamics F&O and CE.
  • Reporting: help with the creation of reports in Dynamics F&O.
  • Ongoing Support: provide post-migration support, analyze and address data-related issues or questions; help optimize data management processes in the new environment;
  • Other duties as assigned;

The Vendor’s Personnel will also be required to:

  • Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines;
  • Notify the Cluster/Ministry project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables, as soon as he/she becomes aware of them
  • Submit Deliverables for the Cluster/Ministry approval as they are completed.
  • Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry security procedures and practices
  • Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry architecture/technology standards and best practices
  • Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines
  • Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster/Ministry staff; and
  • Comply with the Ontario Government I&IT Directive, Operational Policy on the I&IT Project Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures.
