Description:
Perform semiconductor engineering design and development to define and develop components for a wide range of products, including automotive and industrial applications, application processors, microcontrollers, edge computing products and electronic communications networking. Assist the development of components for DDR, Ethernet, high-speed serial links, cores, caches and interconnect. Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Review IP architecture specifications, features, and programming model, microarchitecture and interface specifications. Design IP meeting requirements for quality and performance. Responsible for reviewing IP architecture specifications, features and programming model, microarchitecture and interface specifications. Collaborate with verification team to develop test plans and complete verification execution to 100% coverage, and deliver completed IP including RTL design and supporting documentation. Plan IP documentation and design, and track metrics during IP development including development plan milestones, code and functional coverage, defect tickets, and tracing of requirements versus design specification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams provide expert support to subsystem, SoC, validation and applications engineering teams during product development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.
Two (2) years of experience in job offered Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar occupation (all levels accepted) in an engineering environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Position requires experience in the following specific skills:
- Verilog;
- IC design flow, VLSI, computer architecture;
- Deep Learning/ Machine Learning ; and
- Python.
