Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with Paramount? We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our GL Accounting & Reporting team. REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSC/MSC degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in diverse accounting functions. (Less experience is also acceptable)
  • Strong and current accounting knowledge (US GAAP/IFRS).
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles, concepts, and processes.
  • Strive to be recognized as a business partner by stakeholders.
  • Proficient in business English, both oral and written (B1/B2 or above).
  • Confident in using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook), Internet Explorer, MS Project, and MS SharePoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare standard monthly journal entries, including cost and revenue accruals, prepayments.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations.
  • Compile monthly balance sheet account roll forwards.
  • Generate Financial and Operational Metrics for assigned areas.
  • Collaborate directly with Finance and Operational teams.
  • Provide accounting support to Treasury, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash departments.
  • Actively participate in finance and accounting-related projects.
  • Contribute to the migration of additional accounting activities and processes to GBS.
  • Champion a mindset of process improvement, striving to standardize and harmonize procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, Sarbanes-Oxley rules, and regulations by establishing and maintaining key controls.
  • Facilitate external audit processes by preparing information requests and addressing inquiries.
  • Assist with ad hoc Paramount and internal management requests.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance, education, and training to junior team members.
  • Take ownership of one or more business processes within your field of expertise.
