Description:
Are you ready to make a significant impact on financial operations at Paramount? We’re on the lookout for a talented RTR Senior Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate accounting and analysis of fixed asset and lease transactions, collaborating with both international and domestic teams to maintain precise PPE asset accounting. As a Senior Analyst, you’ll be empowered to execute complex accounting tasks independently and communicate effectively both within and outside the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, with 2-4 years of experience in shared services, accounting, or finance roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, along with a strong command of business English (oral and written).
- Ability to adapt to changing industry and organizational landscapes while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to challenges and issue resolution, demonstrating initiative and timely task completion.
- Experience with SAP ERP is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process incoming CERs in SAP, ensuring the work of less senior team members meets our standards.
- Book amortization for Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) assets in SAP, ensuring accuracy for the period.
- Collaborate with business teams to review Asset Under Construction (AUC) balances and ensure timely capitalization.
- Execute journal entries as necessary for P&L or BS adjustments at quarter-end.
- Perform asset subledger transactions in SAP, including impairment, write off, retirement, etc.
- Prepare reports for Senior Stakeholders and NY Segment Reporting, providing comprehensive analysis of PPE asset movements and closing balances.
- Update Lease Accelerator with new or modified lease deals to ensure accurate lease accounting.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for PPE and Lease GL’s, proactively addressing any reconciling items.
- Ensure accurate booking of SaaS and Software assets.
- Continuously seek opportunities for efficiency and automation.
- Uphold key controls in line with policies and SOX rules.
