About the role
Rydges Gold Coast Airport is looking for a qualified chef to join our exciting new hotel with modern restaurants, bars and spacious kitchens.
Rydges Gold Coast Airport is a very dynamic, fast paced environment and the day can be turned on its head in the matter of minutes so composure and working under pressure is part of the role. The support is there, awesome International experienced Head Chef and Sous with outstanding FB Manager/Supervisors, so time to make your mark as we look for good Southern Gold Coast team to join us.

Skills & experience

  • Preferably worked in a hotel environment and hold relevant culinary qualifications
  • Skilled in traditional and modern techniques, food provenance, quality produce and seasonality
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Imagination to explore new cooking avenues
  • Well versed in maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene.
  • Take ownership of the cleanliness of the kitchen and ability to clean during service periods
