Responsibilities:

  • Being a strong leader who’ll be hands on with the daily supervision of your operational outlet
  • Collaborate with senior kitchen management in menu planning, implementation & execution
  • Ensuring the highest level of quality in the preparation and presentation to ensure a consistent food product which meets our customer’s expectations.
  • Ensure ordering and stock control for your outlet is done in a timely manner & manage wastage through controlled food preparation practices
  • Maintaining the kitchen to hygienic standards and practices according to local health authorities & HACCP compliance
  • Junior staff training & development including apprentices
  • Ensure the department is operated within the appropriate legislation and Food Safety records are maintained up to date
  • Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene for yourself and your tea
