Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Enthusiastic and Innovative
- Physically fit for outdoor activities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commitment to sustainability, with a focus on Fair Trade practices
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Relevant FGASA (Field Guide Association of Southern Africa) qualification
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Wilderness first aid certificate (equivalent to a level 2 first aid)
- Preferably a skipper’s license
- Proven track record of successfully managing Safari and activity departments
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and guest service standards

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Safari and guest activity departments
- Oversee all Safari staff, providing leadership, training, and support
- Ensure health and safety of guests and staff
- Manage game viewing vehicles and boats, ensuring safety and maintenance standards are met
- Expand the current range of game drives, boat cruises, and cultural trips to include more active and interesting offerings for our guests
- Drive revenue through effective booking strategies at the reservation stage and for in-house guests
- Prioritize sustainability initiatives, aligning with Fair Trade principles
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
