Safety Care Associate (PT Night)

Job Overview:
The Safety Care Associate is a Patient Care Associate with experience working with dual-diagnosis patients who will have a primary focus on ensuring the safe milieu of the unit. Under direct supervision of the unit director or designee, the Safety Care Associate will assist with providing direct patient care and reinforcing Safety Together core values and implementing safety initiatives and will participate as a member of the Work Place Violence committee.
Qualifications:

Required:

• High School graduate or GED
• Successful completion of orientation, mandatory education, and trainings and High Reliability/ Safety Together training

Preferred:

• Conducting mandatory Q15 patient safety checks
• Environmental safety rounds
• 1:1 patient safety watches
• Assisting with group facilitation
• Search and logging of patient belonging
