KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing support to the Site Leads with incident and hazard reporting, information gathering, accurate recording of incidents and /or hazards and action plans
  • Maintaining the site’s safety risk management system, the contractor management system and internal safety communications / boards with accurate and relevant information
  • Coordinating requests and taking action to ensure sites have the required first aid resources, safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) available to them
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of documentation and training materials that set safety standards across sites
  • Providing support to ensure all areas of the site are meeting their Emergency Management compliance requirements
  • Conducting all site related safety induction and refresher training for new & existing team members, contractors
  • Manage all aspects of Mobile Dock booking for the site.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects as required (for example, roll out of new operational equipment at the site)
  • Assisting Site Leads with the implementation of relevant and effective safety policies, procedures and strategies that reduce safety risks, reduce financial impacts, ensure compliance and demonstrate continuous improvement of safety results
  • Establishing and maintain professional and effective working relationship with all key stakeholders
  • Supporting site leads to drive continuous safety performance improvement through risk identification and compliance across the site.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Safety and Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing effective and timely administration and coordination to the HDC site. Your role will play an integral role in supporting the Site Lead and the ongoing operational safety, compliance as well as the implementation of appropriate controls that are identified by the Site Leads. You will also be responsible to managing mobile dock bookings for the site.

Your motivation, drive and reliability will be paramount to the success of this role, you will also need:

  • Forklift License (preferred but not essential)
  • Warehouse / Storeroom operational experience
  • Safety and or First Aid related training (preferred but not essential
