SAFETY COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety protocols, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH) is preferred.
• WSQ certification is recognised as well
• Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator/Officer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide safety training and education to employees.
• Investigate and report on incidents and accidents.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, WSH and other safety regulations.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.Promote a culture of safety within the organization.
