Description:
Virgin Active is looking for a new role in the team: a Safety&Engineering Data Analyst that will serve as the data guru for our health and safety work, improve our global data collecting methods, develop data analysis and data visualization tools, and user interface systems to facilitate data access, user friendly data queries, and data system functionality.
The person in the role will work alongside the European Head of Facility, Safety&Engineering and will support the staff in all checks and technical analyzes regarding the development of ordinary and extraordinary activities involving both Safety and Maintenance teams in Italy (40 clubs) and the UK ( 30 clubs).
The figure must be able to develop dashboards and analysis reports based on engineering skills, an important profile for the control and analysis of departmental data.
REQUIREMENTS&SKILL:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) - Engineering Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in a highly data analytical environment, e.g., financial or management consulting, corporate analytics, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical and cross-functional work.
- Problem solving skills with a focus on finding and proposing innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of Safety and Engineering regulation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Prior experience in the utilities or health and safety industry is a plus.
Fluency in English is a “must have”!

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing safety&engineering data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Developing insightful dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics related to workplace safety and health compliance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies for enhancing health&safety and engineering practices.
- Delivering presentations based on the analysis of data to the European Head of Facility,Safety &Engineering.
- Supporting the Europe Head of Facility, Safety &Engineering in the development of new project.
- Support the overall Safety Investigation process with statistical analysis to understand operational safety performance.
- Monitor and supervise Safety&Engineering issues at specific locations.
