Safety & Environment Engineer - Noise

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Safety & Environment Engineer - Noise for a project in Kristiansund, Norway.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor, Master or higher technical education in a science or engineering-related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations, including NORSOK S-002, and other applicable standards.
• Proficiency with CADNA-R or similar software for noise calculation/prediction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-specialist clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
• Offshore certificate is mandatory for this position.
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)

• Plan and conduct as-built noise measurements, including relevant reporting.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other project team members, subcontractors/vendors, and client personnel, as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as required.
