Description:

Your tasks

  • Define a safety strategy for Manufacturing & Logistics Tires and ensure its implementation
  • Define and implement a safety management system
  • Define and implement appropriate minimum standards in an intercultural context
  • Develop and maintain the safety organization and ensure the exchange of best practices and know-how between locations
  • Analysis and evaluation of accidents as well as implementation of technical, organizational and personal measures to minimize the risks of potential accidents and injuries
  • Carrying out internal safety audits in the locations worldwide
  • Leading assigned projects, actively participating in ongoing projects as well as controlling / supporting local safety projects and initiatives

Your profile

  • Academic background; desirably background in Occupational Safety Management
  • Ideally several years of relevant professional experience
  • Profound knowledge of Continental policies concerning Safety Management
  • Experienced in leading projects / working in project structure
  • Knowledge and experience in strategy development
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Excellent intercultural competence (international experience is an advantage)
  • Goal and solution oriented as well as structured working style
  • Excellent communication skills, good networking and strong team player
  • Fluent written and spoken English; ideally, basic knowledge of German
  • High willingness to travel worldwide
