    We are seeking an experienced Safety & Quality Officer for an immediate start for a transport company.

The main responsibility of the role will be:

  • Implementation and auditing of the Safety Management System.
  • Undertaking and Assisting with Incident investigations and preparation of safety reports.
  • Manage and maintain HSE registers and compiling weekly/monthly SH&Q reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with SH&Q policies and procedures.
  • Discussing, monitoring and assisting the staff in the safe delivery of on-site activities.
  • Provision of sound technical SH&Q advice to site teams.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of initiatives to effectively manage HS risk.

The successful candidate Must have:

  • Relevant WHS qualifications (Certificate IV or higher).
  • Knowledge of relevant State WHS
  • Strong ability to lead and manage change and ability to influence managers and other stakeholders.
  • Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Effective collaborator with excellent communication skills.
  • C Class Driver’s License.
  • Current 1st Aid Certificate
  • Police Clearance
  • Passport and ability to travel at short notice.
