Reports to: Maarit Hilakivi, Safety Manager KONE Nordics
Location: Stockholm Kista

To continue building KONE Safety Culture and proactively promote safety practices we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety Specialist to Sweden.
Reporting to the Nordics Safety Manager, the successful candidate will proactively be working to ensure continuous improvement of safety performance and awareness. We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and who can collaborate with the unit functions to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and guidelines affecting safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the implementation of unit safety policy, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor legal and business environment development in safety, identify and propose actions.
  • Provide expertise and support to the business unit on matters affecting safety.
  • Collect, measure, and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data. Report performance.
  • Operate the accident & near miss incident investigation process, complete or verify accident and investigation reports in co-operation with line management and technical specialists.
  • Support line management and technical specialists in defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions from audits and investigation findings.
  • Share safety related information throughout the region.
  • Interact with external stakeholders (i.e. clients and authorities) in matters affecting safety, under direction of the Safety Manager.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to health and safety committee and other safety forums.
  • Conduct trainings
