Job Purpose: To provide technical expertise and direction to dnata businesses on all matters related to Occupational Health and Safety to reduce risks, execute safe operations and coach on safety performance improvement
Job Outline

EXPERIENCE

• 8-10 years of experience in Medical/ safety/ ground safety including at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

• Must be physically able to work in conditions relevant to Airport ground, catering and cargo operations.
• Working knowledge of Ramp GSE, Pushback & Towing and Aircraft Washing activities would be advantageous.
• Operating knowledge of various Ramp GSE used for Aircraft Handling and Servicing would be advantageous
• Procedural Knowledge of steps involved in Preventive Maintenance such as:
• 1) Permit to Work
• 2) Lock Out/Tag Out
• 3) Electrical Safety
• 4) Machine Guard Safety
• 5) Plant Maintenance Safety
• 6) Working At Height
• Must be able to mentor, train & coach Entry level Safety Advisors.
• Field and office-based position: approximately 75% field, and 25% office.
• Advanced knowledge with safety related requirements in interpreting OHS regulations, and safety codes.
• Advanced investigations skills
• Advanced knowledge of observation programs and behavioural based safety
• Advanced communication skills
• Advanced computer and IT literacy
• Advanced planning and organizing skills
• Advanced data collection and analyses skills
• Advanced presentation and facilitation skills
• Advanced professional writing skills
