Safety Training Facilitator

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare and deliver professional training programs
• Manage the effectiveness of training practices (scheduling, management of training aids and equipment etc.)
• Promote the consistent application of operational standards
• Support employees by providing continuous learning opportunities and guidance as required
• Both independently and in collaboration with our sales team grow training opportunities with our large customer base
• Prepare quotes and follow up for customer inquiries

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING

• Post secondary education – in health and safety or other related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in an adult training/learning role
• Strong communication skills written and spoken
• Comfortable training over multiple platforms including in person and virtual
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Frequent travel throughout Alberta is required for this role
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

We are looking for a Contract Industrial Safety Trainer to join our team in Nisku, AB to grow and deliver Hercules SLR approved industrial safety training programs.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Industrial Safety Trainer will be responsible to facilitate training programs for both external and internal customers, and collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and the local branch team to grow Industrial Safety Training opportunities. Training programs include Rigging, Over Head Crane, Working at Heights, Forklift Operator, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space Entry.
