Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a long-term career opportunity to build relationships with decision-makers in the construction industry throughout North America. You actively engage with AEC professionals by phone, email, mail, virtually and in person. You are a product consultant in a specification driven industry, supported by our excellent customer service team. You are an ambassador for the BAUCO brand, and your primary goal is to ensure that more and more construction professionals are aware of our products and services. Your creativity, energy, and strategic thinking will fuel our growth and continue to solidify our position as an industry leader.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Create strategies and processes to increase revenue and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing contractors, architects, developers, engineers, distributors, interior designers, property managers.
  • Identify, research, and follow up on construction project leads.
  • Endeavor to exceed client expectations as a trusted advisor on everything access panel.
  • Collect market and product information through research and listening to client’s concerns to stay ahead of trends, understand competitor strategies, and uncover untapped potential.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Create and deliver compelling and convincing presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Work with the marketing function on lead generation and to develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales and business development team and oversee the activities and performance of the team.
  • Develop your team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Make data-driven decisions to adapt and refine approaches for improved results.
  • Make cold calls with no fear attitude and a comfort level.
  • Handle complex customer complaints or inquiries.
  • Analyze data and customer feedback to improve customer service and experience.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ strategies to identify opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to produce engaging content and advertising materials.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs to retain existing customers and attract new ones.
  • Work out of our Victoria, BC office, with the opportunity from time to time to travel for tradeshow and networking activities (destinations such as NYC, LA, Phoenix, Miami, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Washington DC, Bermuda, etc.).
