Overview:
Waters are seeking a Sales Application Scientist to join the team!
Our aim is to contribute to the orders and sales growth by developing a keen understanding of our customers. We are currently seeking a Sales Application Scientist to work in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to utilise your scientific knowledge across a variety of application areas that have to do with dynamic and static light scattering. The position means 50 % travel time Europe wide to perform onsite demonstrations, visits, and seminars.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing high quality demonstrations and sample analyses for customers.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional environment for visiting customers and sales representatives.
  • Perform online meetings and seminars to support sales.
  • Working with sales to understand the customer needs and find the optimal solution.
  • To be a source of product and application expertise supporting the team.
  • Participating in interesting and impactful applications’ development..

Qualifications:

What will make you a successful Applications Chemist at Waters Wyatt:

  • A MSc or PhD in a Life Science discipline.
  • Previous experience working with DLS and/or MALS.
  • Proven experience in protein or polymer science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience of working collaboratively with others to achieve a shared goal.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
